ViewSonic have been busy little beavers over the last few days announcing a newAndroid(ish) OPhone smartphone for China Mobile and… and a new “VTablet 101” phone/tablet that runs on a 1GHz ARM Cortex-A9 Nvidia Tegra hardware platform using the Android OS. The VTablet 101 sports an 8.9” screen supporting 1024x800 screen resolution. The price is purported to be 3000RMB (USD 440) with 3G internet connectivity. Using a BlueTooth headset it can be used to make phone calls… apparently there is no built-in microphone. Read more.
