Tablet’s have actually been around forever, they’ve been thicker, they’ve been clunky they’ve been x86 CPU powered, they have mainly been Microsoft OSed and… they’ve been shunned by mainstream consumers. 2009 saw the introduction and popularization of eBook readers which have exhibited slimmer characteristics, ARM based CPUs and proprietary alternative software. 2010 will finally be the year of the tablet for the consumer in a new slimmer form that will bring color, more ARM and more Google and Apple based software and importantly services.Read more.
