PC maker Haleron has just announced a new 7” Smartbook based on a 266Mhz ARM processor from VIA subsidiary, WonderMedia. The device runs Windows CE 6.0 and the release looks to have been timed with one from WonderMedia announcing that their chips support Microsoft’s latest Win CE release, 6.0 R3. Probably the most interesting part of the story is that the Smartbook is available on Haleron’s website for USD 189. Read more.
