VIA-powered Asus Eee PC clone


At first glance this netbook looks very similar to Asus’ EeePC 1002HA (pictured left). Both are fairly thin, light and have decent keyboards to go with their 10” displays. The big difference (and one that in this case makes quite a bit of difference to the user experience) is that where the Asus model uses an Intel Atom processor and the much maligned 945 IGP chipset, theshanzhai clone opts for VIA’s latest CPU offering, Nano, along with their latest chipset, the VX855.
