Silicon design house VIA Technologies earlier today announced the latest version of their VIA Nano processor. Dubbed the VIA Nano 3000 Series, the new 3000 Series processors can apparently go 20% faster than previous revisions while using up to 20% less juice, and will target ultra thin notebooks and netbooks. This could be good news for shanzhaimanufacturers looking to branch out from using the oh-so vanilla Intel Menlow platform that is currently the bread and butter guts of just every netbook out there.
